UTS4Climate Big Switch conversation

In this special UTS4Climate event, UTS Professor of Business and Climate, Bob Carr, will sit down with Nicolette Boele and Saul Griffith to find out exactly how investing in renewables and batteries – combined with bold wholesale electrification – can get us to net zero.

Saul Griffith’s answer to the challenge of climate is: Electrify. It’s the theme of his new book, The Big Switch, and the focus of his work with not-for-profit organisations Rewiring Australia and Rewiring America.

Nicolette Boele is currently standing as an independent candidate in the seat of Bradfield on Sydney's upper north shore. Nicolette is an investment and clean energy executive with more than 25 years' experience in capital markets, sustainability and climate change policy.

This event will be held via Zoom, on Wednesday 20 April, at 6pm.
