Volunteer for the Election
Sign up for Election Day here, and also let us know if you can be a booth captain, help with early voting, or help with scrutineering.
This is it.
After years of incredible work from thousands of people in our community, Election Day is here and we're ready to show our support for Nicolette on the day it matters most.
We know getting Election Day right is vital to our chances of winning what has become an incredibly close contest. As many as one in five voters decide who to vote for on the day, and we need to make sure we're there in numbers at every booth to have conversations with as many of them as possible.
Just tell us you're interested here, and we'll give you a call in the coming weeks to give you further details about where and when.
Booth captain: being a booth captain involves collecting a box of materials before Election Day, checking in on your volunteers to make sure your shifts are filled, and dealing with any issues on the day. Tick this box if you're interested in taking a leadership role and we'll be in touch -- training is provided.
Early voting: early voting centres will be open for two weeks before Election Day, and we'll need a lot of help there too. If you can spare some time over the weeks before Election Day, please tick this box and we'll be in touch.
Scrutineering: on the night of the election, we need two volunteers for each booth to scrutinise the initial vote count and spot any errors. Tick this box if you can help -- training will be provided.
