Team 8 is a new team, but Ian and Lynne are old hands. Join them at the Hassell Park shops for a Street Meet. 

Wear your t-shirt and support the team to chat with locals about Nicolette. 

I met someone today who growled at me that Nicolette was a Liberal stooge and she was going to vote Labor. I walked along with her and suggested she could give Nicolette her second preference. She softened and commented "Put Liberals last" and I nodded. Then she mentioned Janine Kitson, I said, "Put her third." "Good idea," she said and took the flyer. Then she said, "Actually, I might take a few of those for my friends."

What a turnaround from a two minute conversation!

We want lots of people to Vote 1 Boele, and in addition, we want lots of others to make Nicolette their second preference. 

I always smile and say hello. Most people say hello back. I am reminded that Cathy McGowan says most people don't remember what you say, but they do remember how you make them feel. 

In our Street Meets, we're trying to make people feel good about choosing to vote for Nicolette. 

So, out we go again! More smiles, more hellos, more conversations!
